The Rev. Dr. Rob Dewey was ordained to the Episcopal priesthood in 1983. Rob began the Lowcountry Community Chaplaincy in 2017. This 501©3 ministry builds off the ministry of the Coastal Crisis Chaplaincy, which he founded in 1990. He served as a Chaplain for the FBI for 24 years, having top-security clearance, and in 2015, was elected the lead Chaplain for the FBI. He also continues to serve as a Chaplain with several local, state, and federal agencies. Rob is married to Kathy Rentiers Dewey. He creates stained glass as a hobby and is addicted to pickleball.
Dr. Sean Hayes is the Chair of a computer science department. His research interests include human-computer interaction, touch interfaces, mobile app design, performance modeling, and educational-assessment design. He received his Ph.D. in computer science from Vanderbilt University.
Mr. Hawkins received a BS in Business Administration from the College of Charleston. After college he worked in real estate development until 2007 when he switched to working for Space and Naval Warfare Command. He was born and raised in Mt. Pleasant where he still lives. He enjoys all things outdoors.
Daniel runs the day-to-day operations of the foundation. He implements the vision of the foundation. Prior to Tikkun Tech, Daniel worked as an attorney at the Federal Trade Commission, where he worked on everything from reviewing mergers to supporting the leadership of the FTC. Prior to law school, he was a Program Manager for a multi-million dollar defense contract and a U.S. Marine.
